Can a water damaged phone be repaired? +
Often, yes, especially if you act quickly and do not try to charge or turn the phone on. Water damage varies a lot from phone to phone, so we cannot promise a result before we look. We offer a free diagnostic and work no fix, no fee, so if we cannot repair it there is nothing to pay.
How much does water damage repair cost? +
Water damage is different every time, so there is no single fixed price. The diagnostic is free, and once we have assessed the phone we give you a clear, upfront price before doing any work. With no fix, no fee, you only pay if we successfully repair it.
What should I do if I dropped my phone in water? +
Turn it off and do not try to charge it or switch it on, as that is when most extra damage happens. Dry the outside, do not put it in rice, and bring it to us as soon as you can. The faster it is looked at, the better the chance of saving it. You can read our full guide on what to do if you drop your phone in water.
Should I put my phone in rice? +
We do not recommend it. Rice does not draw moisture out effectively and can leave dust and starch inside the phone. The best step is to keep it switched off and bring it in for a proper clean and assessment as soon as possible.
Which phones do you repair for water damage? +
iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and other Android phones, as well as tablets. Bring it into our High Wycombe shop and we will assess it for free.
Will my data survive water damage? +
Sometimes. If the phone can be revived, your data is often still there. If the phone cannot be powered on, data recovery may still be possible in some cases. We will always be honest about what is and is not likely once we have looked.
