Board repair, explained simply
Inside every device is a main board packed with parts smaller than a grain of rice. When one of them fails, or a port fixed to the board is damaged, the usual answer is a whole new board, or being told it cannot be fixed.
With fine soldering we repair the board you already have. On a phone that also means your photos and data stay where they are, because the storage is part of that same board.

Where it helps most
A lot of the jobs we already do rely on this skill. A PS5 or Xbox with no picture usually needs a new HDMI port soldered on. A phone that will not turn on, or one that has been in water, often comes back to life once the damaged part of the board is repaired.
